YOUTH LAB was founded in Athens in 2011 by Dr Konstantinos Kafkas. Starting his career in the field of medical aesthetics 25 years ago, he gained invaluable knowledge of the skin’s biology, how it operates, it’s needs and the science behind modern skin care methods, but most importantly his patient’s requirements and expectations from cosmeceutical skincare. Using this experience and knowledge he developed a brand that would be unique, have medical efficacy and would earn its own place in the market.

To establish YOUTH LAB. Dr Kafkas recruited a team of distinguished Greek scientists with extensive experience in the field of medical skincare, who shared his vision and passion to create an innovative, cutting-edge brand that would be unique.

During the research stage fresh scientific data came to light, regarding the importance of skin metabolism. Upon thorough research, it was discovered that the efficient functioning of skin metabolism affects the health and youthfulness of the skin. Having reached this conclusion, the team established performance ingredients that would increase the skin’s metabolism and integrated these into the active formulas, to offer visible and measurable results.

During the aging process, our skin’s metabolic rate decreases and with each passing year more biological functions move into the slow lane.
