This equates to&nbsp;<strong>more than double<\/strong>&nbsp;last year\u2019s Autumn\/Winter ranges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The major increase in the recycled content has come from popular winter favourite the puffer jacket. Warm, lightweight and water and wind repellent, the puffer jacket has become a winter staple item and this year\u2019s pretty pastel colours create a bold statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Men\u2019s and women\u2019s puffer jackets are not the only key winter fashion items in Woolworths stores which support the retailer\u2019s recycled content drive.&nbsp; Woolies has a range of recycled polyester polar fleece items across men\u2019s, women\u2019s and kids including tees, onesies, gowns, gilets and parka jackets and Country Road has a range of recycled nylon jackets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recycled polyester is made by cleaning, melting and processing existing plastics and then spinning them into new fibres. These fibres are then either converted into fabric or used as the \u2018inner\u2019 fill in puffer jackets and duvets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Woolworths is committed to circularity to effectively reduce plastic waste and prioritises including recycled materials in products and packaging.&nbsp; Recycled PET is also used in the retailer\u2019s reusable fabric shopping bags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Woolworths Winter 2021 \u2013 Women\u2019s Puffer Jackets<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Woolworths Winter 2021 women\u2019s core puffer jacket: The shell and lining is water and wind repellent and made from 40% recycled nylon; and the soft and comfortable fill is made from 100% recycled polyester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Country Road Recycled Nylon<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Made from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.countryroad.com.au\/our-world\/materials\/recycled#recycled-nylon\">recycled nylon<\/a>, this longline puffer has an exaggerated lapel, double-breasted button detailing, and a removable belt. The inside has a quilted finish. Recycled nylon is sourced from factory leftovers that may have otherwise been discarded.
